I watched with amazement how three Okada riders ran away hurriedly from the hands of mobile policemen  from Lagos State Task Force that laid siege for them. There has been clamp down on motorbikes operators in a bid to enforce traffic laws. Most of the impounded bikes are destroyed by the authority. The attendant effect of this sanitation exercise may spell doom , some of these operators who have been earning legitimate income may now be force to go the way of crime. Should Lagos State government continue , many youths will add to already swell unemployed list.

An adage said you can hardly find a child to buy in the open market. That is not the case nowadays, children are being sold for those who are in need of them. That is the story of these culprits arrested by men of Nigeria police force.She sold her baby at the rate of 600,000 naira. According to her, the proceeds from the sale of the baby was use to buy phone, wrapper and slippers. Waow! exchanging baby with phone is ridiculous.

Abuja -Kaduna road has become so dreaded that most people will prefer to go by train to avoid being kidnapped. Most innocent Nigerians have been kidnapped on this road, many have fallen to armed robbers and kidnappers gun shot. To avoid harassment from men of the underworld, some distinguish members of the house of representative would prefer to stand for two hours in a train than risking their lives on this dangerous road. Crime fighting is a serious issues, it should be look at holistically. There should be twenty hour security surveillance on this road, government has the primary duty of protecting lives and property. All hands must be on deck to confront this monster.

Law enforcement is a big deal and the approach to stem the tide of crime in the society is not by hobnobbing with criminal elements in the society. Police authority should investigate this video and bring culprits to book.
