FrieslandCampina WAMCO donates cartons of milk to children in IDP camps

Several donations were made to the IDP(internally displace)camp.It is extremely unthinkable that some folks could corner items meant for helpless people in the IDP camp.A councilor ran away with 300 bags of rice meant for IDP inhabitants.

FrieslandCampina donated 5000 cartons of milk. Ask people at the camp when last they take tea.Who are the people in charge of the donations.Do they take inventory of the items they received, how come an individual would made away with 300 bags of rice.Corruption has become our second nature, it is unfortunate.

SARS Reformation Long Overdue.

Special anti-robbery squad reformation is long overdue, reports of violence, maltreatment of people in the hands of SARS officers leaves much to desire. The squad is established primarily to stem the tide of armed robbery, when idea of forming an organisation like SARS was conceived there is nothing like Yahoo-Yahoo or 419. One is surprised that they abandoned their core duties and lay siege on fraudsters, many innocent people have been killed. Government should ensure that the reformation is total, police are suppose to be friends of the masses, it is imperative they conduct themselves professionally.

END OF THE ROAD FOR IFE-IBADAN ROADS

Motorist plying Ife-Ibadan road will heave a sigh of relief temporarily after arrest of some of the Fulani men that terrorize road users almost on daily basis. Many innocent lives have been snuffed out, these undesirable elements have field days and it seems those who are suppose to check their activities are dragging their feet. Now that government is ready to combat crime on our highway, the tempo should be sustained.
