Arowolo pleaded for mercy.



Akolade Arowolo is among inmates on death row at Kirikiri maximum prison, he stabbed his wife Titilayo to death some years ago.He has been pleading for mercy through an organisation led by
Professor Oyelowo.The state has the power of prerogative of mercy, what is not clear is whether
the governor will exercise this right or not.
