PDP STILL HOPEFUL?

PDP hope has been renewed to some extent I presumed, confirmation of Markafi as the new PDP helmsman and victory of Ademola Adeleke signal beginning of new thing for the once hopeless party.

It is very likely that the likes of Musiliu Obanikoro and Dr Doyin Okupe may have to retrace their step back into PDP.

The party has been promising new life for Nigerians if they return back into position of authority, their 16 years of governance was a waste, I doubt if they have anything to offer Nigerians.
Their promises are empty, they should tell it to the marine.

Churches are not reneging in performing their social corporate responsibility. Deeper Life Bible church Provision of bridge and car park is a steps in the right direction. Nigeria churches don't pay tax, but by supporting government in infrastructural development they are paying taxes indirectly. Places of worship like churches and mosques should borrow a leaf from Deeper life. Government is overwhelmed and it should not be left alone in the business of development, all hands must be on deck.

Collapse Building on the Island.

I t is painful that we do not learn from our mist ak es, incidence of building collapse has been on the increase. The unfortunate incidence of collapse building on the Island which claimed lives of so many children call for urgent attention. Government agencies in charge of building needs to wake up from slumber and do the needful. Weak structures in the metropolis poses grave danger to the inhabitants and drastic steps needs to be taken to avert potential danger. Agencies of government that have the oversight functions to ensure strict compliance to building processes and techniques should be purged and bad eggs among the personnel should be shown the way out.
