Rivers state is starting the year on a rather sad note. Killings of innocent people leave much to desire.About 15 people were gruesomely murdered. Who are those sponsoring these wanton destruction of lives and properties.Governor Nyesom Wike has placed a bounty of 200million naira on the perpetrators. Taking a cursory look at this incident, these hoodlums are tools in the hand of politicians, it has been very difficult for an average politicians to play by the rule of the game. The measure the governor is putting in place now is Medicine after death. The number one role of any responsible government is security of lives and properties. If government fails in this regard then our situation becomes hopeless.
