Appointments of dead individuals into Federal government board is a clear indication that government appointment most time is not base on merit. Due diligence is not made,  nepotism is the order of the day, 99.9 percent of those occupying sensitive position are incompetent. We would not develop this way, why is it difficult to appoint people on merit. It is shameful our leaders pretend as if they know the way out but they are utterly confuse.

Ibadan is not exempted, fuel scarcity is butting hard, economic activities remain paralyse.

Motorist who patronises black marketers should be ready to change their vehicle engine soon, ask me why. Most of those fuel are adulterated.

DPR doing a good job,they should seal more filling stations that are cutting corners.

As we are praying for quick recovery of President Buhari son.We should also not forget to pray for people who are stranded in the hospital as a result of inability to pay their medical bills. Our health facility is in shamble, sooner or later Yusuf will be flown abroad. Fear of God would make our leaders do the right thing, government money is not meant to be embezzled, it should be use to provide infrastructure for the generality of the people. We may not need to  seek for medical service abroad if government wake up from their slumber and do the needful.

How do we fare politically as a country in this outgoing year. Nigeria is a great country that is ruled by leaders that are greedy and corrupt. Political parties are formed to present candidates that would represent them in an election. Over the years electorates have been deceived by political class, electoral promises are not fulfilled. In the coming year 2018, there may not be much changes in the economy.Electorates are enjoined not to sell their votes, but they should vote for the most competent candidates.

Many well wishers are wishing President Buhari son quick recovery.He had an accident some days ago. Some fellow who are strong opposition to president Buhari came out to sympathise with Mr President family. It is quite difficult for someone like FFK to separate between politics and humanity. FFK suppose to be an adult and from Yoruba extraction. The Yoruba have a saying"oro se Enikan mayo, ti o ba se Ogun odun ti oni kaluku a ba" The simple meaning is that if you laugh at someone misfortune, your own is near.

President Buhari is reserve and a man of few words. Nigerians are yelling about fuel crisis, yet he has not spoken a word. It is okay, I hope he will sustain his muteness when electioneering begins, he should ensure he never open his mouth to ask for votes.

When president Buhari emerged as the president elect in the last election. A Young man in solidarity with him trek from Lagos to Abuja,  I believed as he was treking he will be saying in his heart Sai Baba Sai Buhari. Many Lagosians have uphold that legacy, people now trek long distance due to fuel scarcity not solidarity trek. I believe as they are trekking they are cursing Buhari in their heart. Lets see what APC will come out with the CHANGE  slogan is not working.

Fuel scarcity.

The last time I was in Ibadan, someone told me a popular Fuji musician in Ibadan name Currency or Taye Currency was a guest artist at a church program,  I thought it was a lie until a lady that attended the program confirmed to me. It is no longer news the legend reggae musician Majek Faskek was a guest artist at a church in Abuja. I choose not to condemn anybody, may be the pastors of those churches are admirer of those musicians.  It is okay, God will help them.

Every one that come out to vote on election day are true Nigerians. At times we talk about voters apathy,  It takes a lot of patriotism to vote for any of these leaders, Buhari inclusive. Juxtaposing APC government with PDP,  these parties are birds of a feather.The stress people go through to get fuel at filling stations is unimaginable, what sort of country is this? I conclude the difference between Buhari and Jonathan is the difference between six and half a dozen.

He is adjudged the best senator from 1999 till date, he is representing Kogi West Senatorial district. His rating could not be faulted,  afterall he waxed an album as a senator, have you forgotten "ajekun Iya ni o je". Aside from excellent musical prowess, he fought Senator Oluremi Tinubu to a stand still, he was even quoted to have threatened that he would impregnate the old woman. He once fought on the floor of the house and his cloth got torn. What other qualities is required to becoming the best senator.

Fuel subsidy removed, 68 percent increase in price of fuel. Nigerians heave a sigh of relief that at last fuel crisis is over,  though citizens pay through their nose they believed no more fuel shortage especially with a disciplinarian like Buhari in position of authority. Long queue at the filling station is unthinkable, month of December has been characterise with artificial fuel scarcity. DPR should intensify effort to seal stations that sell above fuel pump price. President Buhari should stop the scarcity or resign. What would make him exceptional, from other past president.

Akala described Folarin in an interview as schemer, the duo now have common interest. The interest may be re-introduction of violence as recorded during Alao Akala tenure,  did you remember NURTW supremacy battle in Ibadan. The incumbent governor is owing lecturers in Oyo state tertiary institution backlogs of salaries. Either of them may want to contest for governorship position.The reasons why there is no development is because we keep recycling inept leaders.

Osun state or state of Osun, what had change of name got to do with standard of living. Aregbesola Rauf a former commissioner in Lagos is not in the class of Ambode, his performance in Osun State is abysmal.

I don't know of any individual that will become the president of a country like Nigeria and would not want a second term. President Buhari has toured the world, from one country to another. Government pays for the food himself and his family eats,  free medical, allowance when they were outside the country. The privileges is endless, little wonder Obasanjo wanted a third term. I don't need to be a suit Sayer to know Buhari would contest again. My advice to him is that he shouldn't downplay fight against corruption,  but the same energy expended in fighting corruption should be channel towards economy recovery.

Alimodu Sherrif escaped lynching in his domain. He must have become so unpopular. Nigerian youths have three enemies, the first one are the politicians,  the second are politicians and the third are politicians. Imagining there were no security details to rescued him from those angry youths.An average politicians is like Alimodu Sherrif, they became rich at the expense of these jobless youths. They impoverish the people and in a not too distant future they would pay for their atrocities.
