Buhari gain foothold in Kano.


All the way for President Buhari. Thousands of tricycles riders throw their weight behind re-election bid of President Buhari.

Some of the defected members once rooted for former governor of Kano State Rabiu Kwankwaso, but now they are ready to go all out for Buhari.

Forthcoming election would be keenly contested among many political gladiators from different political parties.

It is no longer news that Senate President Bukola Saraki has declared his intention to run for this prestigious position.

At the end of the day, the best candidate would emerge and  Nigerians will be home and dry if the right candidates are voted into power.

POLITICS AND THUGGERY.

It will be an arduous task to separate our kind of politics from bitterness, confusion and thuggery.The recent robbery that took place in Offa where many lives were lost was linked to some hoodlums that are loyal to the senate president Bukola Saraki. As a result of idleness and joblessness many promising youths have been lured and enticed by politicians, many of them are armed to unleash terror on the opposition and innocent people. The kind of politics we practice here  lacks civility and it leaves much to desire, politics of bile will take us nowhere.The main reasons we remain undeveloped is because of purposeless leadership. Political rally should not be a rendezvous for thugs and miscreants, it should be a place where politicians marshaled their manifesto and convince electorates on why they should vote for them. Until we begin to reason logically and do the needful, then our future as a country is bleak.
