Lagos state governor Akinwunmi Ambode speculatively may not likely be the anointed candidate of king maker in Lagos.

Governor Ambode performance in Lagos is encouraging, he has executed many notable projects in the past past 3 years of his tenure.

It is now common knowledge that his relationship with Bola Ahmed Tinubu is frosty.

The party leadership is rooting for the person of Jide Sanwole a commissioner in the state to succeed the incumbent.governor.

Many Lagosians have come to like the sterling leadership qualities in the governor and would have love to vote for him again if only the party would present him as their candidate.

SARS Reformation Long Overdue.

Special anti-robbery squad reformation is long overdue, reports of violence, maltreatment of people in the hands of SARS officers leaves much to desire. The squad is established primarily to stem the tide of armed robbery, when idea of forming an organisation like SARS was conceived there is nothing like Yahoo-Yahoo or 419. One is surprised that they abandoned their core duties and lay siege on fraudsters, many innocent people have been killed. Government should ensure that the reformation is total, police are suppose to be friends of the masses, it is imperative they conduct themselves professionally.

END OF THE ROAD FOR IFE-IBADAN ROADS

Motorist plying Ife-Ibadan road will heave a sigh of relief temporarily after arrest of some of the Fulani men that terrorize road users almost on daily basis. Many innocent lives have been snuffed out, these undesirable elements have field days and it seems those who are suppose to check their activities are dragging their feet. Now that government is ready to combat crime on our highway, the tempo should be sustained.
