A.P.C Ready For Primary.

In the next few hours APC national primary would kick off in some states of the federations.As expected, many candidates political fate would be determined today.

Some of the candidates are stepping down for some perceived better candidate.In Lagos, Dr Femi Hamzat was said to have withdrawn from the race to favour Sanwo Olu.

Former governor of Oyo state Adebayo Alao Akala may have to pitch its tent with other available party if his candidacy is not considered in the ruling party.

Governor Akinwunmi Ambode is at logger head with his godfather and he may look else where to fulfill his political ambition.

SARS Reformation Long Overdue.

Special anti-robbery squad reformation is long overdue, reports of violence, maltreatment of people in the hands of SARS officers leaves much to desire. The squad is established primarily to stem the tide of armed robbery, when idea of forming an organisation like SARS was conceived there is nothing like Yahoo-Yahoo or 419. One is surprised that they abandoned their core duties and lay siege on fraudsters, many innocent people have been killed. Government should ensure that the reformation is total, police are suppose to be friends of the masses, it is imperative they conduct themselves professionally.

END OF THE ROAD FOR IFE-IBADAN ROADS

Motorist plying Ife-Ibadan road will heave a sigh of relief temporarily after arrest of some of the Fulani men that terrorize road users almost on daily basis. Many innocent lives have been snuffed out, these undesirable elements have field days and it seems those who are suppose to check their activities are dragging their feet. Now that government is ready to combat crime on our highway, the tempo should be sustained.
