Mother to Child HIV Transmission ratings

Nigeria ranking as highest producer of HIV infected babies is a dangerous development that is unacceptable and it also portray leadership failure. Transmission from mother to baby can be curbed with adequate sensitization and government intervention  Nigeria is a rich country with many intellectuals in the medical fiekd, what then is the problem? Government will have to answer this pertinent questions and chart a way forward.

Minimum Wages?

Nigeria Labour Congress agitation for 30,000 minimum wage is an effort in futility. Many states ate owing backlogs of salaries with the current minimum wage of 18,000. How on earth will they be able to pay the new wage .What accrued to each state is humongous but there is no accountability.

Nigeria A Great Country.

Nigeria is a great country and it is the most populous country in Africa.Aside from the fact that our indepence was a charade, we have been so unlucky with incompetence leaders at helms of affairs. Nigeria greatness lies with the followers, the leaders have failed us.The onions is on us to pick the right people that will govern us.

Fayose entertain inmates.

He will always leave his mark in the sand of time, governor Ayodele Fayose of Ekiti State after his arraignment in court showed his act of generosity by buying foods for some inmates. That is what make him tick, he is a man of the people any day and any time.

LAUTECH New Tuition Fee Regime, a huge joke.

LAUTECH obnoxious new regime of dangerous increase in tuition fees should be fought tooth and nails. Government find it difficult to pay 30,000 minimum wage, yet parent would have to pay through their nose to send their wards to school. Most of our leaders were privilege to have free education, why is it difficult to replicate that. Many students will be out of school if this fly, so it must be fought roundly .

Fayose Dares EFCC.

The out gone governor of Ekiti State, Ayodele Fayose is in the eye of the storm. He had handed power over to the incumbent governor of the state. He is alleged to have misappropriated huge some of money that   accrued to the state, other allegations leveled against him borders on collection of stolen fund from Dansuki. Former governor Fayose has dared EFCC to arrest and detain him, it is obvious he would have to tell the commission about his role in supposedly mass looting with Dansuki as arrow head.

Buhari ban of foreign trip for corrupt elite.

The federal government decision to bar 😀some corrupt important personalities from traveling abroad was received with mix feelings. Are the affected individuals pronounce corrupt by a competent court. Corruption is the bane of our development and the elite are the reason why Nigeria is poor. Those that are culpable should face the wrath of the law, but the government should not be vindictive.

Atiku mend fence with OBJ

PDP presidential hopeful would now be basking in the euphoria of a renewed relationship with former president Obasanjo. The fence between him and his former boss has been mended by concerned Nigerians. Now that it seems like he has the backing of some religious leaders , it is still not yet Uhuru.

Fayose cross carpeting threat

He was at the forefront of attacking opposition when his party PDP become voiceless. Governor Ayodele Fayose, after fighting hard to launder the smeared image of his party has become indecisive. Finally, he may ditch the party and may join the ruling party. The founding fathers of PDP has taken over the party from newbies .

Atiku Emergence As PDP candidate.

The emergence of Turaki Adamawa, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar as PDP presidential candidate is a welcome development. Former vice president slugs it out with other aspirants in Port Harcourt. By my analysis he is a man to beat, but his popularity would be tested with that of President Buhari . At the end of the day the best candidate would emerge. Every four years we change people at the helms of affairs, is there any significant changes in the life of the massess?

The gods are angry with Fulani cows.

21 cows fell and died when thunder struck. In the past,  reprisal attack has claimed many lives because cows were killed by farmers.. Now, the cows were killed naturally, whom will they vent their anger on? Human life is sacred, no one should take it frivolously. Are the gods angry with cows and handlers?.

Once upon a great country.

Nigeria was once a great country, that was when purposeful leaders of thought manage the economy . Then the grass here is green, but now the grass is no longer green. We run abroad for salvation, is there any salvation there? I have not been there so I wouldn't know. Nigeria would be great again.
