Smuggled ammunition, preparatory for coming election?

Nigeria desperate politicians are capable of doing anything during election. One is not surprise when some of their antics are expose to the public.

The interception of these three men in Ogun State is a step in the right direction, if their plan has sail through only God knows what could have happened.

Election is war in this part of the world or how else will one describe illegal importation of ammunition into the society.

It is obvious the ammunition are brought into  the state in preparatory for the coming election, the culprits in this case are the politicians, most of them are above the law and this case like every other one will be swept under the carpet.

SARS Reformation Long Overdue.

Special anti-robbery squad reformation  is long overdue, reports of violence, maltreatment of people in the hands of SARS officers leaves much to desire. The squad is established primarily to stem the tide of armed robbery, when idea of forming an organisation like SARS was conceived there is nothing like Yahoo-Yahoo or 419. One is surprised that they abandoned their core duties and lay siege on fraudsters, many innocent people have been killed. Government should ensure that the reformation is total, police are suppose to be friends of the masses, it is imperative they conduct themselves professionally.

Showdown between LASTMA officials and bus conductor on Ikorodu road.

Lagos is a unique state, you will always have reasons to laugh or get angry.  A  mild drama ensued between LASTMA officials and yellow bus driver call Danfo.  It is a traffic offence in Lagos to use the line dedicated for BRT service by any private or commercial bus owner.  A recalcitrant Danfo driver was caught using BRT lane and he was forcefully flagged down.  Rather than owing up and pleading for mercy he started a fight with transport officials.  Intervention of men of Nigeria police brought the situation under control.  The conductor trying to resist arrest went under his vehicle, it took a lot of applied force to remove him from under the bus before he was whisked away.
