South Korea former president, Park Geun-hye was jailed for corruption, she was alleged to have collected bribes while in office and also involve in financial crimes.The only reason while some countries are progressing and others retrogressing is because, the country that are progressing are not paying lip service to fight against corruption.
A case study of Nigeria, Bala Ngilari a former governor of Adamawa state was convicted by competent court of jurisdiction, he was jailed for 5years.It is only laughable that after he was
convicted he was release on bail, that is unthinkable.
Until we are ready to borrow a leaf from serious country like South Korea we may remain on the same spot for a long time.
