Senate and presidency face-off

The face-off between senate and presidency to some extent is healthy for our nascent democracy. The perennial rift experienced among the two arm of government is a pointer to the fact that some of the lawmakers are protecting their own selfish interest.
Senate refusal to confirm Ibrahim Magu as the substantive chairman of anti-corruption agency is political.Ahmed Alli, current comptroller of custom also refused to appear before the senate in custom uniform, this linger for a while and I think the matter is before court of competent jurisdiction,

Nigerians are watching with keen interest how this is going to end, the 8th assembly by my assessment is not discharging their duties properly, Nigerians must have learnt that it is expedient to put square peg in a round hole.

Nigeria needs new breeds of leaders.

Nigeria political landscape is somewhat monotonous. We keep recycling same old face and there is no significant impact in our lives. This may be the right time to inject new blood,  Nigerians should think outside the box and elect new crop of leaders that will bring the genuine transformation we desire. PDP ruled for sixteen years, they only enrich themselves and made the people poorer. What impact has APC made so far,  we should think beyond party affiliations and vote for capable individual.
