Ibadan is no longer peaceful.


The largest city in West Africa with population of about 3 million people is Ibadan in Oyo state.Before now it use to be a peaceful city and inhabitants live in peace and tranquility.

Things have really changed, no thanks to recession and economy that is biting hard.Level of insecurity in Ibadan is alarming.A member of the House of Assembly, Honourable Ige laments
state of insecurity in the state.It look as if law enforcement agents in Ibadan are on Vacation.

Houses are burgled, reported cases of car theft is on the increase, Governor Abiola Ajimobi is the chief security officer of the state, he should charge law enforcement agent to do their job.

Did GLOBACOM truly sacked married women ?

The world recently celebrated womens day, some couple of weeks ago it was celebration galore in some churches and religious centers as they appreciated mothers for their important roles in building our society. Gender equality is key, what a woman can do, I believe a woman can do it better as the sayings goes.The telecommunication giant that sacked 90 of its workforce that are married women is being unfair. Has getting married become a burden on an establishments? The single ladies that are not sacked now wont they get married someday? What is the rationale for relieving married women of their duties? There are many questions begging for answers. Nigeria Labour Congress was created to fight and uphold rights of workers, it seems they are toothless bull dog.Drastic steps should be taken to reverse this anomalies.
