Death penalty for kidnappers

Opinion of Inspector General police about sentencing kidnappers to death may not necessarily reduce spate of kidnapping.

Nigeria law for an armed robber has not changed, the punishment is death penalty, I am not sure this had dettered criminal. Death penalty for kidnapper is a welcome development but permanent solution to the problem will be provision of jobs for the teeming masses.
