VICTIMS OF BADOO CULT AND HOUSING PROBLEMS

Large percentage of Badoo cult victims are the poor people that lives in the isolated area of Ikorodu. Most of the victims live in incomplete buildings that lacks any form of security apparatus.

Many people lives in shanties and incomplete building due to expensive accommodation in the cities.I dont really understand the role of government in our country, basic amenities of life like
housing is lacking, why do we have government in place?

There are many houses in a big city  like Lagos and Abuja, some of these houses are not occupied by anybody, yet people live in slums and shanties.Some of these houses are built from proceeds of corruption, government should provide decent accommodation for the people, this will go a long way to reduce incessant attack on hapless individual.

  I t is painful that we do not  learn from our mist ak es, incidence of building collapse has been on the increase. The unfortunate incidence of collapse building on the Island which claimed lives of so many children call for urgent attention. Government agencies in charge of building needs to wake up from slumber and do the needful.  Weak structures in the metropolis poses grave danger to the inhabitants and drastic steps needs to be taken to avert potential danger. Agencies of government that have the oversight functions to ensure strict compliance to building processes and techniques should be purged and bad eggs among the personnel should be shown the way out.
