Inequality in our national life, Dino Meleaye as case study.

Often time I have seen Nigeria soldiers beat the hell out of anyone caught wearing military uniform. It is an impersonating offence to wear uniform meant for military, police and other enforcement agencies.

Rule of law means equality before the law, why is Senator Dino Meleaye not arrested or prosecuted
for wearing military camouflage? this injustice cut across every aspects of our national life.

The bane of our development is inequality, until we allow rule of law to take its pride of place in our
national life, we will remain under developed for a very long time.

Former President To Write More Letters.

Former President Olusegun Obasanjo is a prolific writer and he recently wrote to President Buhari on vital economic issues. Some of the points he raised in his letter are salient and if adhered to would bring conspicuous transformation. While addressing some group of women at Eko Hotel and suites, he told them he would be writing another letter very soon. My worry is this, he had the opportunity to transform this country, Lagos-Ibadan express way and other major roads were left unattended to during his regime. Trillion of dollars was spent on power during his eight years tenure, yet power supply under his watch was comatose. Nigerians are bless with expanded sense of history, posterity would someday assess individual contribution to Nigeria project.

Court fixed Date to decide Evans fate.

Evans the notorious kidnapper would no his fate by 26th of June.  He was arrested last year on allegation that borders on kidnapping, murder and some other offences.  Most of his victims witnessed against him, it is obvious he may not go home soon.  Evans was arrested in his house by intelligent police officers and some of his accomplice were also arrested.  On several occasions he complained about maltreatment meted to him by prisons officials.  The law should take its course.
