YAM EXPORT TO U.S.A

I do not understand the reason why Nigeria is in a hurry to export yams, the yams are not sufficient for local consumption, yet the Minister of Agriculture deem it fit to export yam to U.S.A.

Little wonder people are dying of hunger. news have it that rotten yams were exported to the United State of America.It is logical that you can only export what is sufficient why is Mr Audu Ogbeh in a hurry ?
