Former President Jonathan requested for the sum of 1 billion naira to appear as a witness in an on-going trial involving former spokesperson of PDP(People Democratic Party) Olisah Metuh.

In a country like ours, if truth will be told all first class politicians have immunity, because they can commit crime and get away with it.There is nothing like contempt of court, judiciary have been belittle and the reason is not far fetched.

Most of our judges have been pocketed by politicians, if they summon politicians to appear before their court they disregard their order most of the time and they get away with it.Any country that discounted rule of law will never progress.

END OF THE ROAD FOR IFE-IBADAN ROADS

Motorist plying Ife-Ibadan road will heave a sigh of relief temporarily after arrest of some of the Fulani men that terrorize road users almost on daily basis. Many innocent lives have been snuffed out, these undesirable elements have field days and it seems those who are suppose to check their activities are dragging their feet. Lagos is a unique state, you will always have reasons to laugh or get angry. A mild drama ensued between LASTMA officials and yellow bus driver call Danfo. It is a traffic offence in Lagos to use the line dedicated for BRT service by any private or commercial bus owner. A recalcitrant Danfo driver was caught using BRT lane and he was forcefully flagged down. Rather than owing up and pleading for mercy he started a fight with transport officials. Intervention of men of Nigeria police brought the situation under control. The conductor trying to resist arrest went under his vehicle, it took a lot of applied force to remove him from under the bus before he was whisked away.
