Aside from skill in pick pocketing, Area boys(miscreants)in Lagos are cunning. Any time it rain heavily, some guys are happy and they are very sure of making some money from ignorant motorist.
There are many pot holes along Apapa Oshodi express way and those miscreants knows all the spots.
As soon as there is heavy downpour due to poor drainage system the road is covered with water. Motorist find it difficult to drive on the road, they are careful not to enter pot hole.
The army of these jobless youth will be standing on the road and appear to be assisting motorist.Since they know where the pot holes on the road are, they will intentionally direct you to where there is wider hole.
As soon as your vehicle got stuck inside the pot hole, they ask for as low as 5000 naira so that they can assist you in removing your vehicle from the ditch.
If you are driving along Apapa Oshodi express way be careful.
