Battling scourge of rape in our society.

Image result for image of rape victim girlRape is an act of sexual assault or molestation, taking carnal knowledge of the victims without their consent.Recently, rape has become a canker worm in our society and there is an urgent need to tame it.

A man put his daughter in a family way, when asked why he condescend so low to engage in such an ignoble act, he said his daughter is beautiful and he would like to "feel" her before any other person does that.

Victims of rape most of the time are too timid to speak up, this may be due to stigma associated with rape in our society.

There is need for proper counselling  for victims of rape, they should not be cow to keep quiet, government at all levels should rise up to the occasion and ensure culprits are punished under
the law.
