He was appointed as the commissioner of police in Lagos state on September 5th 2017.

Imohimi Edgal has written his name in gold as a professional police officer, his assumptions of office in Lagos brought an end to deadly reigns of cult group called Badoo.

Recently a NURTW serial killer was arrested and he made some confessional statement that will be helpful to the authority.

Edgal has done well, he will need to do more considering volatile nature of Lagos State.

S Her dream was cut short by a trigger happy policeman in Abuja.Miss Linda Igwetu would have completed service to her father land in a matter of few days. The policeman in question shot at the vehicle conveying her, she was hit by the bullets and because help did not come on time she bled to death. She was taken to some hospitals for emergency treatment but they refused to attend to her because they could not provide police report. We make laws, implementing those laws is an issue, some of our medical practitioners do not have modicum of feelings for human lives. Asking for police report from gunshot victims before commencement of treatment is the height of absurdity. The erring policeman should be made to face the full wrath of the law to serve as deterrent to others.
