New minimum wage , a pittance?

Minister of Labour and Productivity said government is set to announce new minimum wage in September.

The current minimum wage is 18,000 naira, this could barely take any worker home.

How much is government Willing to pay, the new minimum wage should not be less than 50000 .

With the current inflationary rate, anything less than that is pittance .
