Access to technology and the attendants problems: Murder of Taxify driver

Image result for image of taxify in nigeria   TECHNOLGY AND CRIME
Life has become meaningful with introduction of some facilities that ease the way we commute from one place to another, the way we made purchases without leaving comfort of our homes.

Some of these developments are novel to our society and most people that are literates are embracing it.With your mobile phones you can install taxify and uber app, with these app on your mobile phone you can contact Uber and Taxify driver .

The story of a Taxify man that was killed by two armed robbers reminded me of how Jumia sales delivery agent was killed in Port-Harcourt, he delivered i phone to two customers who eventually
lured him to his death.

The taxify driver was stabbed in the stomach and they made away with his vehicle, thankfully the
two armed robbers were arrested.

With the alarming rate of crime in our society, should we conclude Nigeria is not ripe for this kind of services?

Some measures needs to be put in place in order not to jeopardize the lives of people who are struggling to earn  decent living.
