PDP A WEAK OPPOSITION ?

Nigeria democracy will grow if there is strong opposition, ruling party needs strong opposition to bring out the best in incumbent leadership, democracy without meaningful opposition is no democracy.

The two leading political parties in Nigeria are A.P.C and P.D.P. During the last administration, opposition party did some damage to the image of ruling party.

From the look of things, it seems P.D.P as a party is unskillful in playing the role of opposition, opposition party should criticize constructively in order to put ruling party on their toes.

Aside from Governor of Ekiti State who double as PDP "spokesperson", it seems pdp have lost its voice.

Former President To Write More Letters.

Former President Olusegun Obasanjo is a prolific writer and he recently wrote to President Buhari on vital economic issues. Some of the points he raised in his letter are salient and if adhered to would bring conspicuous transformation. While addressing some group of women at Eko Hotel and suites, he told them he would be writing another letter very soon. My worry is this, he had the opportunity to transform this country, Lagos-Ibadan express way and other major roads were left unattended to during his regime. Trillion of dollars was spent on power during his eight years tenure, yet power supply under his watch was comatose. Nigerians are bless with expanded sense of history, posterity would someday assess individual contribution to Nigeria project.

Court fixed Date to decide Evans fate.

Evans the notorious kidnapper would no his fate by 26th of June.  He was arrested last year on allegation that borders on kidnapping, murder and some other offences.  Most of his victims witnessed against him, it is obvious he may not go home soon.  Evans was arrested in his house by intelligent police officers and some of his accomplice were also arrested.  On several occasions he complained about maltreatment meted to him by prisons officials.  The law should take its course.
