PDP A WEAK OPPOSITION ?

Nigeria democracy will grow if there is strong opposition, ruling party needs strong opposition to bring out the best in incumbent leadership, democracy without meaningful opposition is no democracy.

The two leading political parties in Nigeria are A.P.C and P.D.P. During the last administration, opposition party did some damage to the image of ruling party.

From the look of things, it seems P.D.P as a party is unskillful in playing the role of opposition, opposition party should criticize constructively in order to put ruling party on their toes.

Aside from Governor of Ekiti State who double as PDP "spokesperson", it seems pdp have lost its voice.

Are you kidding me? 7 years behind bar for murder.

Is anything wrong with our criminal justice system? The sentence given in a murder case involving Yewande that stabbed her husband to death in Ibadan is unacceptable. Sentencing her to 7 years in prison is a huge joke, the judge convicted her for manslaughter, I am short of words, this judgement will encourage violence in the society. The family of the deceased can appeal the judgement, it is unthinkable.

Folarin and Akala in APC.

There is neither no permanent enemies nor permanent friends in politics.Teslim Folarin and Alao Akala are back to APC. Akala described Folarin in an interview as schemer, the duo now have common interest. The interest may be re-introduction of violence as recorded during Alao Akala tenure,  did you remember NURTW supremacy battle in Ibadan. The incumbent governor is owing lecturers in Oyo state tertiary institution backlogs of salaries. Either of them may want to contest for governorship position. The reasons why there is no development is because we keep recycling inept leaders.
