T. Y Danjuma remarks about herdsman.

The statement credited to T. Y Danjuma the former chief of  army staff in Nigeria from July 1975 to October 1979 is weighty.

General Danjuma advised people under the siege of herdsmen attack to defend themselves.

He was quoted to have said the military is colluding with herdsmen

From all indications, he may not be farther from the truth,  invasion of villages was not carried out in a jiffy,
how come people were left to their fate.

Military authority in some instances have pre knowledge of the attack, yet it could not be prevented.

Danjuma has spoken,  government should look inwards and remove bad eggs among the soldiers.

Killing Of NYSC Member In Abuja Condemnable .

S Her dream was cut short by a trigger happy policeman in Abuja.Miss Linda Igwetu would have completed service to her father land in a matter of few days. The policeman in question shot at the vehicle conveying her, she was hit by the bullets and because help did not come on time she bled to death. She was taken to some hospitals for emergency treatment but they refused to attend to her because they could not provide police report. We make laws, implementing those laws is an issue, some of our medical practitioners do not have modicum of feelings for human lives. Asking for police report from gunshot victims before commencement of treatment is the height of absurdity. The erring policeman should be made to face the full wrath of the law to serve as deterrent to others.
