Oyo State in mourning state as Speaker of the House of Assembly passes on.

Oyo State has been thrown into state of mourning.

The Hon. Speaker of the House of Assembly is dead, he became the Speaker in 2015 from Ibarapa.

Politicians as usual would begin to pour encomium on him. Late Micheal Adeyemo was a quintessential leader, he was the best Speaker in the history of the state. He left when the country and the state need him most

These are kind of words you would hear from politicians.

Life is temporary, politicians should govern with fear of God

Prophet Of Doom and Funke Akindele(1)

Prophet in the Holy Book are well respected, when they declared a thing it come to pass. e. g Prophet Elijah decree that rain would not fall for 3 years and it came to pass. It is true that religion is the opium of the people, modern day Prophet are not in the class of Elijah. What a prophet said about an artiste who recently lost her pregnancy that she would not give birth unless she married a gateman make me sick. Who is the author of such prophecy? What do we stand to gain by rejoicing in people predicament. Everything in life have it's own time, at the appointed time Funke Akindele will give birth. I pray that the Lord have mercy on the prophet.

END OF THE ROAD FOR IFE-IBADAN ROADS

Motorist plying Ife-Ibadan road will heave a sigh of relief temporarily after arrest of some of the Fulani men that terrorize road users almost on daily basis. Many innocent lives have been snuffed out, these undesirable elements have field days and it seems those who are suppose to check their activities are dragging their feet. Now that government is ready to combat crime on our highway, the tempo should be sustained.
