Police Station relatively unsafe again.

Police station has become increasingly unsafe both for policemen and civilians that needs police intervention to settle scores in their community.

The story was told of couples that dragged each other to police station in Offa to resolve family issues.

They were both killed by rampaging armed robbers that invaded the police station before heading to robbed some banks in the locality.

Militants in Delta State sacked policemen from their station and freed some of their men that were detained.

What is going on? These people are paid to protect the masses, it seems protecting themselves has become an issue.

Policeman Beat Nursing Mother In Ibadan.

. As long as Police Service Commission would not recruit right candidates we will keep having incidents like this . A woman with her child straped to her back was molested by a policeman because she indirectly stopped him from collecting 50 naira from a bike rider. This unfortunate incidents happened in Ibadan, police have lost their respect. Beating a nursing mother is criminal and the police man should be dealt with.

Former President To Write More Letters.

Former President Olusegun Obasanjo is a prolific writer and he recently wrote to President Buhari on vital economic issues. Some of the points he raised in his letter are salient and if adhered to would bring conspicuous transformation. While addressing some group of women at Eko Hotel and suites, he told them he would be writing another letter very soon. My worry is this, he had the opportunity to transform this country, Lagos-Ibadan express way and other major roads were left unattended to during his regime. Trillion of dollars was spent on power during his eight years tenure, yet power supply under his watch was comatose. Nigerians are bless with expanded sense of history, posterity would someday assess individual contribution to Nigeria project.
