The best method or approach to reduce crimes and criminal tendencies to the barest minimum is to provide enabling environment.

Government had approved $1 billion to fight insurgency. More than ever before

Though,  there is no crime free society but it could be relatively controlled.

If half of what is invested in buying arms and ammunition is invested in education and job creation, Nigeria would have been a better place.
