Statistics of road accident released by NBS is staggering.

The statistics revealed that close to 2598 Nigerians lost their lives in road accidents within the spate of six months.

This is huge and it buttress the fact that life expectancy in Nigeria is very low.

Some of these accidents are caused by bad roads , government budget billion of dollars every year for road rehabilitation, yet our road is bad.

FRSC have the mandate to check recklessness on our road, motorist who break traffic rule always bribe their way out.

Road carnage would be reduced if we are ready to do the needful, some of these accidents are man made.

How we can have effective policing system.

News have it that 80 percent of Nigeria policemen are appointed as private security details to some influential Nigerians. As a matter of fact, we have not adequate number of policemen and there is need for more. The remaining 20 percent police about 80 percent Nigerians, the elite among us are about 20 percent of the populations. No wonder armed robbers most of the time have a field day.
