Convictions of past governors by EFCC and our criminal justice system.

Economic and Financial commission has been securing conviction of past governors who were alleged to have mis- appropriated their state funds.

Former governor of Taraba State Jolly Nyame was sentenced to 14 years in prison without an option of fine for fraud.

Plateau State governor Joshua Dariye is also going to spend the next 14 years in jail for similar offence.

Nigeria criminal justice system is highly predictable when it affects the men of timber and caliber, where is Bala Ngilari? Bala was sentenced but he never serve the jail term.

Our justice system has been reduced to toothless bull dog, it could only bite the poor.

Killing Of NYSC Member In Abuja Condemnable .

S Her dream was cut short by a trigger happy policeman in Abuja.Miss Linda Igwetu would have completed service to her father land in a matter of few days. The policeman in question shot at the vehicle conveying her, she was hit by the bullets and because help did not come on time she bled to death. She was taken to some hospitals for emergency treatment but they refused to attend to her because they could not provide police report. We make laws, implementing those laws is an issue, some of our medical practitioners do not have modicum of feelings for human lives. Asking for police report from gunshot victims before commencement of treatment is the height of absurdity. The erring policeman should be made to face the full wrath of the law to serve as deterrent to others.
