More Than 9 Lives lost In Lagos Inferno.

Lagos tanker fire accident must have recorded more casualty than reported.

9 people were reported to have lost their lives and several others injured.

Vehicles burnt total 54, as a matter of factly more than 9 people lost their lives.

Reducing the number of casualties in order not to smear government integrity is not the way forward .Loss of one life is painful enough let alone 9 lives .

The crux of the matter is that, has any lesson been learnt? What would the government do differently next time.

Articulated vehicles are menace on our roads, strict measures should be deployed to control their activities on our roads

Fuel crisis, not again in Nigeria........ NNPC.

You may describe him as an optimist, you will not be farther from the truth. NNPC GMD Dr Makainti Baru said Nigeria will never experience fuel crisis again. Nigeria is an OPEC member, yet we have no functional refinery not even modular refinery. Dr Baru should not only promise citizens, talk is cheap, what are the measures put in place to stop scarcity. Nigetians would not forgot last December in a hurry,  many people slept at filling stations for days. Let's keep our finger cross and watch fulfillment of Baru prophecy.

Relocation of Bodija abattoir and Nigeria Police involvement.

Killings of protesting butchers in Bodija abattoir was not necessary. Nigeria police force could douse tension without shedding innocent blood. Relocation of the abattoir to new location by the government was resisted by the butchers which led to violent protest and eventually death of two individual. Government action to relocate the butchers now is prejudicial since the case is still in court. Nigeria police should also know that using live bullets to disperse protesters is criminal and uncivilized.
