Saraki Letter To The Police.

Senate President Bukola Saraki who was alleged to be sponsors of Offa robbery suspects has written to the police to absolve himself.

Nobody should be presume to be above the law, police has the constitutional right to invite anyone who is not immune from litigation.

Since senator Saraki is not under immunity, writing to defend himself is unconstitutional .

This is not one of the case that should be swept under the carpet, whoever is liable should be brought to book regardless of their status.

Nigeria local league under funded.

Nigeria football league need total overhauling and government needs to encourage grass root development of the game. Footballers plying their trade locally face a lot of challenges. One of the challenges they face is under funding, most of Nigeria clubs are poorly funded. Lives of footballers are expose to danger, rather than travelling by air,club owners subject them to untold hardship of travelling by the road. Many young footballers have lost their lives, could you imagine a football team that travel long distance to play a crucial match. Before arrival at their destination they are fagged out already, government should be ready to develop sports at the grass root.
