Why People Choose To Commit Suicide By Diving Into Lagoon?

Lagos Lagoon is becoming more popular for the wrong reasons.

In the spate of 1 month, minimum of 2 people have committed suicide by jumping into the lagoon.

The recent incidents involve a student of Lagos State University who jumped into the lagoon in a bid to commit suicide but was rescued alive.

Why do people prefer to die in Lagos lagoon?

If the government could build a very tall barrier that would prevent people from diving into the lagoon, this would reduce the incidence.

The water is being polluted, don't you think so?
