Government hike in excise duty would greatly affect beverages and tobacco company.

This was revealed by the senate committee on Finance.

The increase would lead to massive loss of jobs, in as much as the government wants to increase revenue, the plight of workers should be put into consideration.

Government policy should be geared towards giving citizens quality life not making them poorer
