Nigeria police are no longer corrupt

Assistant Commissioner Of Police came out to defend policemen on the road.

According to him, he traveled for 3hrs from Ibadan to Ekiti and not a single policeman asked him for bribe despite the facts that he counted monies to entice them.

Based on his inference, should we now conclude that Nigeria police are corruption free

We love to deceive ourselves in this part of the world, rather than calling a spade a spade we call it agricultural implements.

You and I know that 90% of our police force are fantastically corrupt.

Some couple of days ago I saw some military personnel blocking the road during environmental sanitation exercise.

Is that the job of a soldier? Killings of innocent people by supposedly herdsmen is rampant, why can't we deployed those soldiers to such places , I think we have a long way to go.

Women underwear targeted.

Ritual killers are on the prowl with new method and approach in inflicting pains on their victims.Women panties and brassiere have become money making materials in the hands of these evil men. Only God knows how women underwear are transformed to enrich an individual who are too lazy to work but seems to be seeking short cut to success. Nigeria police have come out to criminalize this act and also threatened to prosecute culprits for attempted murder. Everyone  should wake up to the reality that some unscrupulous elements will go all the hog either by hook or crook to make money.

Former President To Write More Letters.

Former President Olusegun Obasanjo is a prolific writer and he recently wrote to President Buhari on vital economic issues. Some of the points he raised in his letter are salient and if adhered to would bring conspicuous transformation. While addressing some group of women at Eko Hotel and suites, he told them he would be writing another letter very soon. My worry is this, he had the opportunity to transform this country, Lagos-Ibadan express way and other major roads were left unattended to during his regime. Trillion of dollars was spent on power during his eight years tenure, yet power supply under his watch was comatose. Nigerians are bless with expanded sense of history, posterity would someday assess individual contribution to Nigeria project.
