State Police To Be or Not To Be.

Whether to be or not to be, debate on state policing is on-going.

The demerits of having state police outweighs the advantages if there is any.

Nigeria is not ripe enough to adopt state policing, seating governors would oppress the opposition using them.

Rather than advocating for state policing, Federal government should equip existing security apparatus.

Some of the states find it difficult to pay civil servants.Backlogs of salaries are owed yet they want additional burdens.
