It was a shocking news that went viral after 4 storey buildings crumbled in Abuja.

8 people were reported to have been trapped under the rubbles.

Incidence of building collapsed is not new in the metropolis.

Many factors are responsible, one of the major factor responsible is the greed on the part of builders.

Materials that are inferior most time are use, also necessary building approved plan are circumvented

Until government wake up to their responsibility and stem the tide of corruption, nothing is going to change

Former President To Write More Letters.

Former President Olusegun Obasanjo is a prolific writer and he recently wrote to President Buhari on vital economic issues. Some of the points he raised in his letter are salient and if adhered to would bring conspicuous transformation. While addressing some group of women at Eko Hotel and suites, he told them he would be writing another letter very soon. My worry is this, he had the opportunity to transform this country, Lagos-Ibadan express way and other major roads were left unattended to during his regime. Trillion of dollars was spent on power during his eight years tenure, yet power supply under his watch was comatose. Court fixed Date to decide Evans fate.

Evans the notorious kidnapper would no his fate by 26th of June. He was arrested last year on allegation that borders on kidnapping, murder and some other offences. Most of his victims witnessed against him, it is obvious he may not go home soon. Evans was arrested in his house by intelligent police officers and some of his accomplice were also arrested. On several occasions he complained about maltreatment meted to him by prisons officials. The law should take its course.
