Matters arising:Third Mainland Bridge Closure.

Lagos residents would experience swell time as closure of third mainland bridge takes effect.The bridge will be closed for three days to allow repair work to be carried out on the longest bridge
in Africa.

It may not be a pleasant experience for Lagos residents during the period of closure, we hope the schedule examination would be concluded in a record time.

Killing Of NYSC Member In Abuja Condemnable .

S Her dream was cut short by a trigger happy policeman in Abuja.Miss Linda Igwetu would have completed service to her father land in a matter of few days. The policeman in question shot at the vehicle conveying her, she was hit by the bullets and because help did not come on time she bled to death. She was taken to some hospitals for emergency treatment but they refused to attend to her because they could not provide police report. We make laws, implementing those laws is an issue, some of our medical practitioners do not have modicum of feelings for human lives. Asking for police report from gunshot victims before commencement of treatment is the height of absurdity. The erring policeman should be made to face the full wrath of the law to serve as deterrent to others.
