Motorist plying Ife-Ibadan road will heave a sigh of relief temporarily after arrest of some of the Fulani men that terrorize road users almost on daily basis. Many innocent lives have been snuffed out, these undesirable elements have field days and it seems those who are suppose to check their activities are dragging their feet. It is a traffic offence in Lagos to use the line dedicated for BRT service by any private or commercial bus owner. A recalcitrant Danfo driver was caught using BRT lane and he was forcefully flagged down. Rather than owing up and pleading for mercy he started a fight with transport officials. Intervention of men of Nigeria police brought the situation under control. The conductor trying to resist arrest went under his vehicle, it took a lot of applied force to remove him from under the bus before he was whisked away.
