Some of the candidates are stepping down for some perceived better candidate.In Lagos, Dr Femi Hamzat was said to have withdrawn from the race to favour Sanwo Olu. Former governor of Oyo state Adebayo Alao Akala may have to pitch its tent with other available party if his candidacy is not considered in the ruling party. Governor Akinwunmi Ambode is at logger head with his godfather and he may look else where to fulfill his political ambition.

The candidate of APC was declared the winner of the recently concluded governorship election. He emerged the winner after polling higher number of votes. Some school of thought believed it was not a free and fair election. The will of the people is sacrosanct, an election that subverts the will of the will of the people would take us nowhere.
How are our elders treated after working very hard, after toiling meritoriously to serve their father land. Our system make them sit on the floor in an undignified manner to receive their pension, most of the time the pension is not paid as at when due. Pension funds are in private hands while our aged parents lives in penury.Their contemporary abroad lives in affluence and government ensures they have access to good medical care. Nigeria is a rich country and government is capable of taking care of its old citizens.
Pastor Leke Adeboye was quoted to have called electorates that voted for APC in Osun State last election fools. Could he have said that or was he quoted wrongly ?.It is a matter of fact that every human being are political animals, religion inclination not withstanding. Pastor Leke is entitle to his opinion, people who voted for APC also has the fundamental right to vote for whoever they think would run the affairs of the state well. It is offensive to tell people which party to vote for, every electorates should be above 18 years of age, so they could decides. If truly he called them fools, then I am disappointed !

Governor of Ekiti state is one the key opposition to the ruling party, giving him a fair hearing would strengthened rule of law.
Finance Minister Kemi Adeosun who was enmeshed in certificate forgery scandal was said to have resigned her appointment. Having been indicted by some detractors, she thought it wise to bow out.Many active politicians do not see forgery as a big deal. Some of them have been prosecuted in the past on the same issue but they came out unscathed, you know in Nigeria everything goes. Nigeria would be better if people own up and take take responsibility for their actions and inaction.
